Russia and China on Wednesday completed long negotiations on deliveries of Russian natural gas to the Chinese market; it has become the main achievement to end a two-day visit by Russian President Vladimir Putin in Shanghai on Wednesday. The signed contract worth $ 400 billion is designed for 30 years.

According to the Director of the Centre of Russian Studies of Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences, Professor Pan Dawei, relations between Russia and China are developing very successfully and steadily over the recent years. “This transaction is of strategic importance for the development of relations between our countries.
