The bilateral meeting between Abashidze and Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Grigory Karasin on April 16 is the sixth in a row. The first was held on December 14, 2012 in the suburbs of Geneva, the next four – in Prague in March, June, September and November 2013. They are the first direct dialogue between the officials of the two countries since 2008.
